1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Teja Finance services, users agree to these Terms & Conditions and any service-specific terms, policies or onboarding requirements applicable to the products they use.
2. Eligibility and onboarding
Use of certain services may be subject to identity verification, business verification, bank-account verification, product eligibility, risk review and other onboarding requirements. Teja Finance may request additional information before enabling or continuing a service.
3. Accurate information
Users must provide true, complete and current information. Submission of false, misleading, incomplete or unauthorised information may result in delayed onboarding, restricted services, rejection of requests or account review.
4. Account security
Users are responsible for safeguarding passwords, OTP-enabled devices, email accounts, API keys, tokens and other credentials associated with their accounts. Activity performed using valid credentials may be treated as authorised unless appropriately reported and investigated.
5. Lawful use
Teja Finance services must be used only for lawful purposes and legitimate business or personal transactions permitted by the relevant product. Fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, prohibited or abusive activity is not permitted.
6. Payment processing
Payment processing may depend on banks, payment gateways, payment aggregators, UPI participants, card networks and other service providers. Transaction acceptance, processing, authorisation, settlement or reversal may therefore be subject to external systems, operating rules and timelines.
7. Transaction status
A transaction may be successful, failed, pending, reversed or otherwise under processing depending on the relevant payment channel. Users should verify the final transaction status before initiating duplicate payments or issuing refunds.
8. Settlements and reconciliation
Settlement availability, timing and reconciliation depend on the applicable product, transaction status, banking arrangements, partner processing and operational controls. Users are responsible for reviewing transaction records and reporting discrepancies promptly.
9. Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for accurately describing their products or services, clearly displaying applicable prices and policies, fulfilling orders or services, handling customer communications and maintaining lawful business operations.
10. Refund and cancellation responsibilities
Merchants and users must follow the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy. Refunds should be initiated only for eligible transactions and may be processed through the relevant payment method, bank, payment gateway or acquiring arrangement.
11. Prohibited transactions and activities
Services must not be used for activities prohibited by law, banking partners, payment networks or applicable service-provider policies. Teja Finance may restrict, suspend or review activity where prohibited, suspicious, unauthorised or high-risk behaviour is detected.
12. KYC, AML and risk controls
Accounts and transactions may be subject to identity verification, business verification, fraud-prevention controls, transaction monitoring and risk review. Additional documents or clarification may be requested where reasonably required.
13. Holds, delays and restrictions
A transaction, settlement or service may be delayed, restricted or placed under review where required for fraud prevention, risk management, compliance, dispute investigation, technical reasons, banking-partner requirements or lawful instructions.
14. Fees and charges
Fees, charges, taxes or pricing may apply depending on the product, service plan, payment method or contractual arrangement. Applicable commercial terms should be reviewed before using the relevant service.
15. API and integration responsibilities
Users integrating APIs or webhooks are responsible for protecting credentials, validating responses, securing endpoints, implementing appropriate authentication and maintaining their integration according to available technical requirements.
16. Service availability
Teja Finance does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every service. Downtime or delays may occur due to maintenance, network issues, banking systems, payment networks, third-party providers, security controls or circumstances outside reasonable control.
17. Disputes and complaints
Users should report transaction concerns through the available support or grievance channels with relevant transaction details. Resolution may require coordination with merchants, banks, payment providers or payment networks.
18. Suspension or termination
Access to a service or account may be restricted or discontinued where required for security, suspected misuse, breach of terms, regulatory or banking requirements, non-cooperation with verification or other legitimate operational reasons.
19. Third-party services
Certain functions depend on third-party banks, payment service providers, networks, verification providers and technology services. Teja Finance is not responsible for failures solely attributable to third-party systems beyond its reasonable control.
20. Limitation and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law and contractual arrangements, responsibility for a transaction or service issue will depend on the role of the relevant parties, transaction facts, underlying payment channel and applicable service terms.
21. Changes to these terms
These Terms & Conditions may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in services, operational requirements, partner arrangements or applicable requirements. Updated terms will be published on this page.
